This scenario describes how a continuous sausage filling and sealing line is configured for smoked and cooked sausage production at industrial scale. It applies to plants that have outgrown semi-automatic filling and need filling, linking, hanging and sealing to run as one flow instead of four separate steps.
| Scenario element | Typical setting |
|---|---|
| Industry | Industrial meat processing, sausage and ham production |
| Production type | Smoked sausage, cooked sausage, emulsion sausage, diced-meat sausage |
| Output band | 3500 kg/h to 9000 kg/h of filled product per line |
| Casing types | Natural casing, collagen casing, protein casing |
| Portion range | 5 g to 10000 g |
| Operating pattern | One to three shifts, wet washdown environment |

| Process step | Equipment in this scenario | Key specification |
|---|---|---|
| Filling | ZKG-3500 / ZKG-6500 / ZKG-9000 vacuum vane filler | 220 L hopper, 5-10000 g portions, 380 V 50 Hz |
| Linking | GN-1200 high-speed twister | 1500 sets/min, 30-180 mm twist length, 3 kW |
| Hanging | Automatic sausage hanging machine | Matches twister output, keeps the line continuous |
| Sealing | DKJC-120 industrial clipper | 120 clips/min, 12-15 mm Great Wall clip, 35-120 mm casing |
| Area | Semi-automatic setup | This continuous scenario |
|---|---|---|
| Filling rhythm | Filler pauses while linked product is carried away | Filler runs while the hanger takes the links to the rack |
| Casing consumption | Set by hand, waste rises through the shift | Casing saver setting on the twister holds waste down over a long run |
| Portion weight | Re-adjusted manually during the run | Vacuum filling with a fixed portion range keeps weight stable |
| Sealing | Separate clipper, often the bottleneck | Clipper speed matched to the filler at 120 clips/min |
| Labour | An operator per station plus carrying labour | One line operator supervises the whole flow |
All contact parts are SUS304 stainless steel. The clipper uses a waterproof motor and treated alloy steel components for wet washdown areas. EPS holds ISO 9001 certification and most machines ship with CE certification, with key components sourced from Germany and Japan.
